 Cocooned in the lush green environment KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SAP PEROORKADA is far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A campus where silence reigns and with the backdrop of a clean green environment it provides a healthy setting for a fruitful learning. Now into the sixth year of existence, the Vidyalaya has travelled a long way from its initial struggles and proudly houses three divisions up to X  standard and two divisions of XI  standard.It has a student strength of  1288  and a staff strength of 50.Thus a strong foundation has been laid for pursuing  greater height. 

GENESIS

 The School came into existence on 15th June 2007.This Vidyalaya was started in the 2007 under the sponsorship of Kerala Police. Sponsoring Agency has given a temporary building which has rooms for conducting classes, and other activites CCA, Scouts & Guides, Junior Science Lab etc.

Mission of Kendriya Vidyalayas

 The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,

1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;

2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education ;

3. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and

4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children .
